I successfully finished my first module (HTML/CSS). Wohoo. It was a good time, I liked my fellow students and learned a lot. Considering that my class notes were looking like this, who would have thought? I haven’t done any personal drawings for a bit (life is busy), so the following chaotic scribbles are all I can offer at the moment.
Out of paper, but I found something else. The benefits of being a coffee junkie.
Fred asked me to make one cup for him, so here we are:
Erst aufmachen, dann zumachen, dann reinpacken! Sonst seid ihr verloren. -Peter (teacher)
Something else. I wanted to try out a new WordPress theme. Mainly because I wanted it to be “responsive”. Switching a theme can me messy so I made all the changes locally. When all was set and done I read a few tutorials how to get the local version live. I exported and imported everything (no, I didn’t forget the DB) and *suprise, suprise* the site didn’t quite look like on the test server. I freaking knew it. Luckily, I only had to move all the widgets back to where they belong and re-added some missing texts. Everything else seems to have worked out alright, I guess. Phew.
